corporation providing services specifically related to the Coordinate Measuring Machine
(CMM).
Axis Metrology, Inc. is an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited Calibration lab with the
A2LA (Certificate Number 1767.01) and accredited ISO 9001:2008 with Bureau
Veritas Certification.
Axis Metrology is a full service Calibration and Repair organization specializing in all
Hexagon brand (Brown & Sharpe, DEA, and Leitz) and I.M.S. brand CMMs. Axis
Metrology offers worldwide service coverage. We are associated with The H. Morgan
Company in California and Microservice in Italy.
Our Calibration Service and equipment includes Hewlett Packard Interferometer Laser
systems, Ball Bars, Gage Blocks, and Step Gages for B89, CMMA, VDI / VDE and ISO
10360 type calibrations with all equipment being traceable and documented to the
N.I.S.T. We have access to all OEM software compensation maps allowing our service
engineers to return your CMM to the original specification. We recognize the
importance of adhering to the ISO requirements in our industry so we provide our
calibration documentation in a format approved by these standards. At your request,
we can provide you with a sample copy of our calibration documentation.
Our Repair Service offers an extensive inventory of OEM replacement parts for
troubleshooting and repairing your CMM at significantly reduced cost compared to the
OEM companies. There is no controller or machine too old for us to repair and we can
supply your old electronic spare parts.
Our Technical Service uses factory (OEM) trained service engineers to Calibrate and
Repair your CMM. Each service engineer we employ has a minimum of 15 years of
experience in the CMM service and programming field. Our services also include
turnkey CMM relocation; CMM retrofits and upgrades, software training, program
development, and planned maintenance solutions.
Our Training programs include onsite support for system programmers, operators,
and maintenance personnel. We have a diverse applications knowledge base having
worked throughout the engineering, prototype, and manufacturing fields for several
leading automotive and aerospace companies.
Our Sales Department has many Bridge and Gantry style refurbished CMMs with a
6-month guarantee including delivery, assembly, calibration, and software training.
We carry the full line of Renishaw products and services including exchanges from our
extensive inventory.
